Kevin Augustine tells one of his quintessential creators stories, where it's hard to tell what is the characters own emotional journey and what is meta-commentary on the creation of the piece or the puppets in the piece. Either way you get emotionally pulled into the drama of the tortured creator and all the obligations one has to ones creations. Kevin, or at least his characters, (called father in this piece) seem to feel the same sort of love and commitment to his creations (foam puppets) that parents to for their children.
