White Glove Tracking
The recent death of Micheal Jackson has thrown my radio listening back to the 80's. Not that I mind really.
And while it's possible to cast an eye back to the intenet in the 80's and probably find something interesting on the pop icon in usenet I am reminded of a much more interesting intenet blast from the past. Well OK it was only 2 years ago, but intenet time is really fast.
With support from the dependably geeky and depndably arty Eyebeam and Rhizome, Evan Roth and Ben Engebreth present the Icon's Icon put through the croudsourcing mashup mixer = White Glove Tracking

Isadora 1.2.9.17 (Mac) & 0.9.7.17 (Win)
New Isadora update
http://www.troikatronix.com/izzy-updates.html
I haven't mentioned Isadoara for a little while here, Great new features I'm personal excited about since I last mentioned it are:
Multiple Live Input Sources (Video/Audio)
TCP/IP Send/Receive Actors
Support for Dual/Triple Head 2 Go
Stage Preview Control
Vista Compatibility
Enable/Disable Actor Snapshot Feature:
Send Serial Actor:
But therea are plenty more new things to check out.
How could we have used isadora without all those asome features you may ask?
Oh yea, it has 1000 other features and it's wicked easy to use. (er ... OK it's pretty complex, but it's at least 4 times as easy when comparied with anything else that can do anything like it)

Region Selection – a mechanical prototype
One of the motions I’ve been trying to represent physically is the selection of a region of audio. There are any number of screen-based ways to do this, but I wanted to create something mechanical that could do this.
